About Us

Serving as USPF’s development planning body and chief policy formulator in the area of research education, the Center for Research, Planning and Development (CRPD) is making a bold effort in creating a supportive environment for research where innovation, discoveries, creativity, and excellence of scholarly activities flourish and produce significant outcomes in the improvement of the quality of life.

The CRPD has streamlined the procedures in availing the Institutional Research Grants for the faculty and non-teaching personnel. From proposal development to presentation, publication and technology transfer, the Center supports the researchers at every stage of each research process through capability building.

The Center also engages in multiple discipline collaboration with government and non-government agencies, joint ventures with industries, and forming new partnerships with other research institutions.

Objectives

• • 1. Determines and provides the research infrastructure and enabling policies and initiatives;

  • 4. Promotes a wide range of multidisciplinary researches, from basic researches to cutting-edge researches; and
  • 5. Establishes links with both local and international research bodies for cooperation and sharing of research information.
